The residency program at NPHX Church exists to help prepare the next generation for full-time ministry. This is a one-year post-graduate position for those who have a call to ministry. The residency program will develop residents for ministry through leadership training, spiritual growth opportunities and hands-on skill development.
The residency will start in August. Residents will receive a monthly stipend and will consist of 40 hours a week including homework.
Leadership training
Residents will have weekly cohort meetings with the church staff. A variety of leadership topics will be discussed and they will have the opportunity to apply these things through their residency experience.
Spiritual Growth
Residents will be mentored and encouraged in their spiritual walk by our church staff. Books, discussions and practical spiritual growth opportunities will be provided during the residency.
Hands-On
Our goal is for residents to not just learn ministry, but to apply what they have learned. They will immerse themselves in their assigned ministry track and have the opportunity to grow and develop their skills as they become leaders in the local church.
